This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through the BrightRide website, online quote requests, reservations and purchases, email, telephone, SMS and WhatsApp communications, direct booking and payment processes, transportation services, and certain vehicle video and telematics systems.
This policy is primarily intended for website visitors, prospective customers, customers, and passengers.
Information relating to employees, drivers, contractors, schools, institutions, and other business-to-business relationships may be subject to separate agreements, notices, policies, or procedures.2. Information We Collect
The information BrightRide collects depends on how you interact with us. We may collect information you provide directly, information generated in connection with a reservation or transportation service, information collected automatically when you use our website, and information generated through certain vehicle safety and telematics systems.
The categories of information described in this Privacy Policy may not apply to every customer or every service.3. Information You Provide to Us
When you request a quote, make a reservation, contact BrightRide, or use our services, you may provide information such as:
- First and last name
- Email address and telephone number
- Billing address
- Pickup and destination information
- Requested service date and time
- Number of passengers
- Flight number and flight information
- Cruise ship or cruise terminal information
- Hotel or accommodation information
- Luggage information
- Transportation preferences and special requests
- Information concerning mobility devices or accessibility assistance that you voluntarily choose to provide
- Other information reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or provide the requested transportation service
The person making the reservation is responsible for providing accurate information and for having appropriate authority to provide information relating to other passengers included in the reservation.
4. Quote Requests and Inquiries
When you submit a quote request or other inquiry through our website, email, telephone, WhatsApp, or another communication channel, BrightRide may use the information you provide to prepare and send the requested quote, contact you regarding the requested transportation, request additional information, answer questions, and reasonably follow up regarding the specific quote or inquiry you initiated.
Follow-up concerning a quote or inquiry does not enroll you in a newsletter or unrelated promotional marketing program.
BrightRide currently does not use customer contact information to send general advertising newsletters or unrelated promotional email, SMS, or WhatsApp campaigns.5. Booking and Transportation Information
When a reservation is made, BrightRide may collect and maintain information necessary to create, manage, modify, perform, document, and support the transportation service.
This information may include:
- Customer or booking name
- Contact information
- Billing information
- Service date and time
- Selected shuttle departure
- Number of seats or passengers
- Pickup and drop-off locations
- Flight information
- Cruise ship or terminal information
- Booking and order numbers
- Payment status
- Cancellation or refund information

6. Payment Information
BrightRide uses third-party payment providers to securely process payments.
Online payments made through the BrightRide website may be processed through WooPayments, which uses payment-processing infrastructure provided in partnership with Stripe. Reservations arranged directly with BrightRide may also be paid using payment links provided through Square.
When you make a payment, information necessary to process the transaction may be transmitted to the applicable payment provider. This may include your name, billing information, email address, telephone number, transaction amount, order information, and payment-related identifiers.
Sensitive payment credentials, such as full card numbers and card security codes, are processed through the applicable payment provider’s secure payment environment. BrightRide does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes processed through WooPayments.
BrightRide may retain transaction records, payment status, payment-provider references, refunds, disputes, invoices, and other records reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, customer service, dispute resolution, and legal purposes.
Payment providers may also process personal information in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.7. Website Forms
BrightRide currently uses website form technologies that may include Forminator and Fluent Forms.
Information submitted through these forms may be stored in BrightRide’s WordPress database and may also be transmitted by email to BrightRide so that we can respond to your request.
Depending on the technical configuration of the applicable form, information such as an IP address and submission metadata may also be collected.
BrightRide intends to use Forminator as its primary website form system, but this Privacy Policy also applies to information submitted through other forms operating on the BrightRide website.8. Website, Device and Technical Information
When you visit the BrightRide website, certain technical information may be collected automatically by BrightRide or by service providers supporting the website.
Depending on the services and technologies in use, this information may include:

The availability and operation of analytics or advertising technologies may depend on the user’s consent choices and geographic location.10. How We Use Personal Information
BrightRide may use personal information to:

BrightRide does not sell customer personal information as part of its ordinary transportation business.

- Transportation providers or operational partners assisting BrightRide with a reservation

12. Drivers and Transportation Partners
Drivers and transportation partners may receive information necessary to perform an assigned transportation service.
Depending on the reservation, this may include:

- Email address when operationally necessary

- Flight information
- Cruise ship or terminal information
- Number of passengers
- Special requests
- Other information reasonably necessary to perform the transportation
13. Customer Communications
BrightRide may communicate with customers by email, telephone, SMS, or WhatsApp in connection with an inquiry, quote, reservation, or transportation service.
These communications may include:
- Responses to inquiries
- Quote information and follow-up
- Booking confirmations
- Payment information
- Pickup instructions
- Driver information
- Schedule or vehicle updates
- Flight or cruise coordination
- Service changes

BrightRide currently uses WhatsApp Business for certain customer communications.
When a customer chooses to communicate with BrightRide through WhatsApp or another third-party communication service, that service may independently process information in accordance with its own privacy practices.
BrightRide does not currently use WhatsApp, SMS, or customer email addresses for unrelated mass advertising or promotional campaigns.14. Video Recording and Vehicle Telematics
Certain vehicles used by BrightRide may be equipped with video cameras, GPS tracking, and other vehicle telematics technology.
BrightRide currently uses GPS Trackit cloud-based fleet technology for certain vehicle monitoring, operational, and safety functions.
These systems may collect or generate information such as:
- Video footage
- Vehicle location
- Route and trip information
- Vehicle movement
- Speed or other driving-related information
- Date and time information
- Other vehicle or fleet telematics information supported by the system
BrightRide’s onboard camera systems used for these purposes record video only and do not record audio.
Video and telematics information may be used for passenger and driver safety, vehicle and fleet security, operational coordination, accident or incident investigation, damage assessment, complaint or dispute investigation, insurance-related matters, protection of BrightRide’s legal rights, and other legitimate transportation, safety, or fleet-management purposes.
Video footage is not routinely downloaded from the cloud-based system. BrightRide may download or preserve relevant footage when reasonably necessary in connection with an accident, safety incident, complaint, dispute, insurance matter, legal matter, or other legitimate operational purpose.
The availability and retention of cloud-based footage or telematics information may depend in part on the technical configuration and services provided by the applicable system provider.15. Special Requests and Sensitive Information
BrightRide does not generally require customers to provide medical information as part of a standard transportation reservation.
However, a passenger may voluntarily provide information concerning accessibility needs, mobility devices, assistance requirements, or other circumstances when that information is relevant to safely or appropriately provide transportation.
Customers should provide only the information reasonably necessary for BrightRide to understand and accommodate the transportation request.
BrightRide may use this information to evaluate available transportation options, coordinate the service, communicate necessary information to the assigned driver or transportation provider, and comply with applicable legal obligations.16. Information Concerning Children
BrightRide’s standard website and consumer reservation services are directed to adults arranging transportation.
BrightRide does not intentionally require a child’s name, date of birth, or other personal information solely to make a standard consumer transportation reservation.
A parent, guardian, or responsible adult may provide information concerning a child’s transportation needs, including a request for a car seat or booster seat where applicable.
The adult making the reservation is responsible for determining and communicating the child’s transportation and child-restraint needs.
Transportation involving minors under school, institutional, group, or separately contracted arrangements may be subject to separate agreements, procedures, and privacy practices.17. Service Providers and Third-Party Platforms
BrightRide relies on third-party services and technologies to operate its website and transportation business.
Depending on the service being used, these may include providers supporting:
- Website hosting and email
- WordPress and website functionality
- Website forms
- Event and reservation management
- E-commerce and order management
- Payment processing
- Analytics
- Communications
- Vehicle tracking and telematics
- Video management
- Other operational functions
Current technologies and providers may include Hostinger, WordPress, Forminator, Fluent Forms, Eventin, WooCommerce, WooPayments, payment-processing infrastructure associated with Stripe, Square, Google Analytics, WhatsApp/Meta services, and GPS Trackit.
These providers may process information on BrightRide’s behalf or, in certain circumstances, process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
The use of a third-party provider does not eliminate BrightRide’s responsibility to describe its own handling of personal information.18. Data Retention
BrightRide retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for legitimate operational, administrative, accounting, tax, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the circumstances.

Information maintained by third-party providers may also be subject to their technical storage periods, contractual terms, and legal obligations.
BrightRide may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of personal information when it is no longer reasonably necessary to retain it, subject to applicable legal requirements and technical limitations.19. Data Security
BrightRide takes reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
BrightRide also uses third-party providers for functions such as website hosting and payment processing that maintain their own security measures.
No website, electronic communication, cloud platform, or information-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Customers should not send full payment-card numbers, card security codes, passwords, or other unnecessary highly sensitive credentials through ordinary email, SMS, WhatsApp, or website inquiry forms.20. Privacy Choices and Rights
